Former Senate Democratic leader Tom Daschle of South Dakota also mocked the idea (of Hilary Clinton offering a joint ticket to Barack Obama) on NBC's Meet the Press. The Money Quote:

This reminds me of a Chris Rock routine:

...After Powell said no way, people started talking about him at least being vice president. They said he should do it for his country. Fuck the country. Why should he run with a guy he could beat? People have the nerve to ask a black man to something that fucking stupid. Would anyone ask Al Gore to run with Al Sharpton?
